Word Work Packs!

I have made some of the activities in these packs on the fly for my students for months (i.e. typing it up on the spur of the moment and sprinting to the copier mid-lesson).  I mean, I’m pretty sure we could highlight-a-word every day!  Also, I had lots of requests for certain spelling patterns, so I *finally* took the hint and made them :)

The pack contains 5 spelling patterns, typically taught in first grade, though you could probably use them for remediation, as enrichment for K-kiddos or ESL students.

Each pack is $5.00.  The activities are the same as my previous word work packs – only the spelling pattern changes.  I’ve found that this helps familiarize my students with the activities, which leads to independent little firsties.  Love that!

And, in case you forgot, tomorrow is the Leap Day Sale on TpT!  My store will be 20% off and they’ll be offering an additional 10% off using the code L2P9Y :)   Lots of fantastic sellers are doing the same thing.

Have a great night!

Love the Word Work packets! I teach 2nd Grade, and we do differentiated Spelling. I have three different Spelling groups, so I have three different Spelling lists and patterns going on at the same time in my classroom. Your Word Work packets will make it much easier for me to come up with some new ideas for practicing our Spelling patterns during Small Group Instruction. Possible idea--beginning and ending blends?? Ex--I am doing a t, ft, lt, and st list this week.

Thank you!!!

Abby I am new to the TPT world...there are so many activities that I would like to purchase to do next year, but really won't have money to do so until the summer. Are your activities available for a limited amount of time or will I be able to find them down the road? Thanks!

Love the hair :) I am a kindergarten teacher, always looking for inspiration, and your ideas are so fantastic. One thing I'm wondering though-- when do you sleep?! It would take me ages to create these amazing packets!

Abby, I LOVE your blog!!! I was wondering where you get your adorable doodle frames (I have no idea what the correct name for that is) that are on the covers of so many of your awesome packets?
