Valentines Math Centers {Freebie!}

Spidey was a little under the web today.  Up at 4:30am with a fever, which put me to school at 5:45am planning for a sub.  Super fun.  But, I did get to spend the day with a super hero, so I can’t complain too much :)

While sweet precious took a FOUR HOUR nap (!!!!!!!), I was able to wrap up my We Love Math! Valentines-themed math center activities.  The activities are all First Grade Common Core Standards aligned, and many of the centers match up nicely with our direction in Math in Focus right now.  There are 8 different centers included for $5.50.    {PS.  I think about 9 people got this for FREE!  I accidently uploaded this pack instead of the center listed underneath the preview.  Oh well!  I hope y’all like it!!!!}

You can download a condensed version of one of the centers by clicking on the picture below!

And, lastly, introducing the sequel to The Candy Corn Bandit:
Hopefully, I’ll have the Sweetheart Snatcher uploaded sometime this weekend!

Have a great day, y’all!!!

So sorry to hear about the little man, but it must have been so nice to have an unexpected 4 hour chunk of time. I've been home with sick littles off and on for the past few weeks. I hope he's feeling better soon.

Oh poor sweet dear- I hope he's feeling better! Thanks so much for the Valentine's math unit. It's great to be able to buy some of your stuff! (Since I teach kindergarten in French I'm not able to buy the literacy units, etc.) I LOVE your stuff (and both your blogs. Woman, how DO you do it?

My school is switching to common core math next year... what curriculum do you use? I am on the math adoption committee and we are searching for something that will work for a few years.

I'm excited to use your math centers in my classroom. They look great. I am also a 1st grade math teacher from KY that is using Math In Focus and already following the CC. Have you started model drawing with your students? It's not in the Math In Focus for
1st book but is a big Singapore strategy (I think Math In Focus starts it in 2nd). We are having so much fun drawing models to go with our math stories. Fun stuff!
