Second Grade is Super! {First Day of School Activities for 2nd Grade}

Hi, Second Grade Teachers!  This one's for you!

After several requests to alter my "Fun with Firsties" pack to be more suited for your super second graders, I was able to make a few alterations and change some wording to make an activity pack just for y'all!  Though I don't teach 2nd grade, I remember right where my first graders left off and feel confident that these activities are suitable for your aspiring learners :) I also had sweet Patti, a 2nd grade teacher over at Primary Practice, take a look at it to make sure it matched up.  Here's a preview (which you can view larger from TpT):

Super in Second! includes many activities that will be perfect for the first few weeks of school.  I hope you enjoy it, and be sure to take advantage of the 10% discount TpT is offering: B1T1S

Have a great day, friends!

Thanks so much for thinking of us 2nd grade teachers! I was looking at your first grade packet on TPT earlier in the week and wishing I still taught 1st grade so I could use it. I love your amazing resources!

Hi Abby! I loved the idea of the Second Grade materials. I went right to the website and bought it. When I downloaded it from the site, some of the pages are blank or blurry. Any ideas?!?! Thank you.

Have you ever considered making a tutorial showing the rest of us how to make these fabulous packages and activites? I have great ideas in my head, but I don't know what program to use, where to get the boarders and fonts ect... I certainly don't want to take away from your business, I just want to add to all of these wonderful blogs.

Ha Ha--Us teachers are not very good at reading before asking :) I just found the label "font" and read it. You can delete the previous comment. Thanks for the inspiration that you give me and don't even know.

Abby, I just have to thank you again for this packet! My kids LOVED every activity from it!

So glad you included a few versions of Find a Friend-they were great activities to have on hand-so fun!

I already bought my green Jitter Juice for September 2012! This will always be a favorite first day tradition!
